We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Sales Engineer. The Senior Sales Engineer will work directly with senior management at O.Z. to drive new business growth. The Senior Sales Engineer will call on and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, distributors and partners. They will be responsible for all aspects of selling technical solutions, which includes technical discussions with customers/partners, scope determination, cost estimating and contract authoring. The candidate must be willing to travel locally on a regular basis to visit customer locations.
Qualified candidates will have the following attributes:
Minimum of a 2-year Associates Degree in BAS Systems, HVAC or a related field
5+ years of experience in the BAS/Controls/HVAC industry
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Self-motivated and hard-working as this position will have a high level of autonomy
Technical competence and the ability to author technical estimates
Proven ability to develop customer relationships and drive sales opportunities
The ability to work independently as well as on a team
